A native of south Louisiana, she paid her dues in the south east clubs, that won her the title of "Louisiana's Female Vocalist" and winner of the True Value, GMC, Marlboro music festivals, where critics quoted "Tareva has the ability to belt out R&B while showcasing a delta sound that is all her own"...  Later being a six time Star Search winner & Semi Finalist, it landed her on TNN singing request with The Crook & Chase Shows, that got her nominated twice for "New Female Vocalist of The Year" on the CMT award shows, which put her at Fan Fair and in Music Row Magazine, Billboard, Country Weekly, Modern Screen, Songwriter magazine and on The Grand Ole Opry Stage, singing with many legends. Honored to be a duet partner with Kenny Rogers on his song "Only once in a Life Time"...Recognized from Gospel Channels, The RFD & Heartland Network plus Theater Stages, now releasing music on all music platforms 2021, after 13 years of battling spine health issues causing her to retire early. The newest member of The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame award. Now singing mostly in churches in The Florida Panhandle and bringing awareness to spinal cord diseases...Syringomyelia, Osteo, Bertolotti Syndrome, Degenerative Disk Disease and more.
